LYNDON GEORGE

- 6 years as Assistant and Head Coach in the NCAA
Lyndon George is the Founder and Head Coach of C.A.N.I. Athletics, and brings a unique blend of academic achievement, elite coaching experience, and proven results to athlete development.
He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a Master of Science in Education, providing him with a strong analytical foundation alongside advanced training in teaching, leadership, and athlete development. A graduate of Syracuse University, Lyndon built his coaching philosophy around structure, accountability, and measurable progress—principles that define the C.A.N.I. Athletics approach. His academic background supports a data-driven and education-focused methodology that emphasizes both performance and personal growth.
Before founding C.A.N.I. Athletics, Lyndon served as Head Coach at the City College of New York (CCNY), where he established one of the most successful programs in the nation. During his tenure, his athletes earned over 15 national championships and more than 70 All-American honours, reflecting consistent excellence at the highest collegiate levels.
Lyndon has also coached at the international level, including Canadian Olympian Eliezer Adjibi and Canadian Junior Champion William Batley, further demonstrating his ability to develop athletes for national and global competition.
Coach Lyndon George remains committed to developing complete athletes—physically, mentally, and academically. His holistic coaching philosophy challenges athletes to raise their standards, trust the process, and confidently answer the core question of his program: “Can I?”—with belief, discipline, and results.
LOFTI KHAIDA
Head Jumps Coach


Lotfi is a highly accomplished coach specializing in sprints, long jump, triple jump, and high jump. A two-time Olympian, African Games Champion, and LSU All-American, he brings elite-level competitive experience to his coaching. He has a proven track record of developing high-performance athletes, including Canadian national team members and medalists such as Hans Lafleur, Bryson Patterson, and Thomas Becker. His coaching philosophy focuses on technical precision, speed development, and individualized programming, with a strong commitment to both youth development and elite excellence.
Some of his achievements include:
- Competed at the 1988 Seoul Olympics
- Competed at the 1992 Barcelona Olympics
- Pan-Arabian Champion
- Algerian Long Jump and Triple Jump Record Holder
- 4x All-American at Louisiana State University (LSU)
- Level 5 certified Sprint and Jumps (National Level) Coach and a certified instructor in that discipline
- Former coach at the University of New Orleans
